Black Ink Patterns

Hi there, Thanks for stopping by. This is my blog and as the name might suggest its about some of my work. What began as a way to escape  the classroom grind has transformed into a way i can escape reality for however short the time might have been,  but as Einstein said "time is relative" and as a way to show what I've seen on these distant islands to which i make short journeys to. If can i compare my drawings to anything it would be to The Rorschach Test. So the drawings can be interpreted in many different ways and it also relates differently to different people.


To tell you something more about the sketches, the only things i use to make these drawings are just a normal  black pen preferably using gel ink cause they don't fade and  a glass half full or half empty bubbling with creativity with a dash inspiration(you know what i mean if you know what i mean).

To tell you something more, i had absolutely no talent when it came to looking at a picture and drawing like a painter would see an object and then paint it on his canvas, i am not talented in that way but what i am capable of doing is detailed pattern drawing, this method of drawing is very repetitive and  needs patience it took me at least 3 months to finish each of these drawings the latest one took less than two months mainly due to excess spare time being available

This sketch describes how i feel about being in a relationship or love rather the thought of  being in one and all i have experienced is a mild infatuation  for two weeks so i don't what those words really mean. To describe the drawing, there's  A rose, A face and a symbol of a bird encompassing the face. What i am trying to say in this drawing is that you can't be truly free and be in love with a person because one has to compromise their desires, actions or behaviors  to keep the connection between you and the person alive. The drawing is on a A4 size sheet which i still have the original of. Below are my other stuff

Below is the most recent one i have made. What i am currently on is bigger size since i have more space to let my ink flow and trying out portraits of people drawn the only way i know to draw on a window sized paper . If you are interested in making a portrait of yourself or anyone  else you want one made of, you'll be lucky to know all i need is a picture of you or that person and what size you need it made to. I don't really care about the money, if you like my stuff and if that is the reason why you want something made for you, i ll be more than happy to make it free of charge but as i have mentioned  earlier the more detailed and bigger the portrait the longer it'll take and i am not really the most financially stable person around so any reward would be great but if you cant really afford then i can always make an exception considering special circumstances . And before you drift to your next destination please do let me know of any suggestions or criticisms so i can improve my work.

Substance Abuse

I am Also interested in digital image manipulation or what is more commonly called Photoshop but i use an open source software called Gimp which is absolutely free and has a pretty impressive set of tools to work with.
